Единый областной историко-краеведческий урок «Курсант Гагарин» прошел В П-Покровской модельной библиотеке.
Мероприятие инициировано ГБУК «Оренбургской областной полиэтнической детской библиотекой». Урок посвящен 90 летию со дня рождения Юрия Алексеевича Гагарина, лётчика-космонавта СССР, Героя Советского Союза, кавалера высших знаков отличия ряда государств, почётного гражданина многих российских и зарубежных городов.
Сотрудник библиотеки рассказала ребятам о яркой, насыщенной, но такой короткой жизни Юрия Гагарина. Дети узнали интересные факты из жизни космонавта. Ребятам был показан пятиминутный документальный фильм о легендарном первом полёте в космос Юрия Алексеевича. Затем разгадали космические загадки, с интересом раскрасили картинки о космосе.
Также библиотекарь познакомила ребят с книжно-иллюстративной выставкой «Космос далёкий и близкий», на которой были представлены книги о космосе, Гагарине, полётах советских и российских космонавтах, планете Земля и многом другом.
Познавательный час, посвящённый Юрию Гагарину, расширил кругозор ребят.
